KRSENKOVIC BRKOVIC

Dragana published six books.

Izgubljeni pecat (The Lost Seal) is a novel about an exciting adventure – the quest for an old manuscript written using an almost forgotten runic alphabet. A world of this novel is the world of dreams of silent and passionate characters, as well as of stories and legends. The novel consists of three intricate stories settled in three different times.

Vatra u Aleksandriji (The Fire in Alexandria) is a collection of stories. This book considers the issues of people’s eternal effort to make something lasting and beautiful that would help them to embed their traces into the world without any sustained foothold or some point of strength, into the world where everything crumbles and disappears.

Gospodarska palata (The Master’s Palace) is a collection of stories about violence, love, passionate pursuit of happiness, prejudice, and death. These stories are told through the destinies of people who live in different time frames. At the same time, this is a book about the quest of its main heroes for ways that will help them to resist scarcity, congestion, and reduction of life given to them.

Iza nevidljivog zida (Behind the Invisible Wall) is a collection of three one-act plays. This book considers the issues, on the one hand, the mysterious depth and unique secret of theater, but on the other, finiteness, temporariness, and the ritual nature of the theatrical act.

Duh Manitog jezera (The Genie of the Manito Lake) is a collection of original fairy tales written in the form of drama. Interlacing really and imaginary characters, real with marvelous, unusual and unique moments with well-known relations, Dragana built a particular world in his fairy tales woven from many adventures and mysteries.

Tajna plavog kristala (The Secret of a Blue Crystal) is a collection of original fairy tales written in the form of drama. Every story in this book has its own voice that it is told, enriched by authentic characters and atmosphere. It took her seven years to write and finish these plays.

The story The Maiden's Rock has been published in "12. Zeni. Glasovi." (12. Women. Voicies.), an anthology of prose fiction of women writers from seven Balkan countries (Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, and Bulgaria).
